The
Question: How did you choose Clue as the play this year? ​ Answer: So, the first week, our Grade 11-12 class kind of brainstormed different ideas as to how to approach the course, and it became very clear that they wanted to do a production at a theatre, much like we’ve done in the past. We then dissected the talents of the class, and we quickly realized that most of our talent was in our acting, and we didn’t have a lot of skill when it came to singing and dancing. This meant that we had to find a play that was exclusively acting, and we did a lot of analysis until we came across Clue. It seemed like there was a lot of excitement around it, and when we took the vote, it was basically unanimous in terms of how much class loved the choice. Question: How did the atmosphere and culture in Morocco compare to what you’re used to at home? Answer: IThe atmosphere towards soccer and sports in general in Morocco was amazing. As a team, we went to watch the opening game of Morocco vs Brazil. With Morocco being the host country, the stands were filled with fans who brought such electric energy. It was amazing to watch and gave us more motivation to go far in this tournament. Everyone we came across was incredibly kind and caring. It wasn’t unlike what I’m used to at home, but it was very cool to see the soccer community in another country.
