The
Question: How do you think the Black Student Association has shaped the school community? ​ Answer: I think BSA has created a great sense of community throughout the school. It helps groups of students know that there are different types of support available to them in the school, which are there to help them succeed. I think it's helped foster more self-esteem in students in the association, and I feel like it's created a lot more positivity for students as a whole. It’s made students love being here and has gotten them excited to participate in the different types of initiatives we partake in. Question: How did the atmosphere and culture in Morocco compare to what you’re used to at home? Answer: IThe atmosphere towards soccer and sports in general in Morocco was amazing. As a team, we went to watch the opening game of Morocco vs Brazil. With Morocco being the host country, the stands were filled with fans who brought such electric energy. It was amazing to watch and gave us more motivation to go far in this tournament. Everyone we came across was incredibly kind and caring. It wasn’t unlike what I’m used to at home, but it was very cool to see the soccer community in another country.
